These terms explain how Doculabs works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Welcome to Doculabs (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Doculabs provides an online Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables users to analyze and review contracts (“Service”).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
1Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Doculabs. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
2Description of Service
Doculabs provides AI-powered contract analysis tools designed to assist users in reviewing contractual clauses, identifying risks, and improving clarity.
Doculabs does not provide legal advice. The analysis generated by the platform is for informational purposes only and should not replace consultation with a qualified legal professional.
3Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4Payments and Billing
All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles:
- Payment processing
- Tax calculation and collection
- Subscription management
- Refund processing
When purchasing a subscription, you agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
5Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which provides a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase.
6Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for illegal activities.
- Upload confidential third-party documents without proper authorization.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
7Intellectual Property
All software, branding, content, and technology used in Doculabs remain the exclusive property of the Company.
You retain ownership of the contracts and documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8Data Protection and Privacy
We process user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Uploaded documents are used only to generate analysis results and are handled with commercially reasonable security measures.
9Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Doculabs is provided “as is” and “as available”.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated analysis.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
10Termination
We may suspend or terminate access:
- If you violate these Terms.
- If required by law.
- In cases of fraudulent or abusive behavior.
You may terminate your subscription at any time (see Cancellation Policy below).
11Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Company is registered, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
